This is a stainless steel L.U.C. 1937 automatic 168527-3001. It is on a black leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle and has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back secured with 8 screws, and a push/pull winding crown at 4 o'clock. The 42mm diameter solid two-body case and bezel are polished. The dial is gray with applied steel Roman numeral hour markers and steel luminescent hands. There is a white railroad minute ring around the dial and a red central sweeping seconds hand. It's water resistant to 50 meters, it has a 60-hour power reserve at full winding, and there is a date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Chopard L.U.C. 1937 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Chopard caliber L.U.C. 01.01-c movement. It's rhodium plated, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, an anti-shock system, and a straight-line lever escapement. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Chopard L.U.C. 1937 was released in a limited series of 1937 pieces.
