This is a stainless-steel Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 PAM01392. It includes an AISI 316L stainless-steel case on an articulated rubber strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has the patented Panerai fully protected screw down winding crown with lever activation for even winding underwater and there is a screw down exhibition sapphire crystal display case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – STAINLESS STEEL – 100M," and a serial number. The cushion-shaped 42mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and stepped flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The "sandwich" dial is black with vintage illumination showing through the open worked baton and Arabic numerals at the half hours. There is a luminous circular constant running small seconds subsidiary dial with a blue/white luminous "propeller" style indicator hand at 9 o'clock, and a luminous date aperture window is at the 3 o'clock position. It includes pointed and polished baton hour and minute hands. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a power reserve of 72-hours at full winding, and the 15.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 PAM01392 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber P.9010 movement entirely created in-house at Panerai in Neuchâtel. It's constructed with 31 jewels, 200 components, an Incabloc anti-shock system, two barrels mounted in series, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a monometallic Glucydur balance. When the winding crown is pulled out the watch can be perfectly synchronized with a reference signal, and the hours can be conveniently adjusted without interfering with the minute hand because only the relative hand jumps one hour forward or backwards. This was designed for easily changing time zones and the hour hand is connected with the date indicator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM01392 was introduced in 2016 in a limited edition to 1500 examples.
