These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you”) and European Watch Company (“EWC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, digital platforms, retail location, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
References to EWC Insurance Solutions LLC (“EWC Insurance”) are included where relevant; together, EWC and EWC Insurance are referred to as the “EWC Entities.”
By engaging in any transaction with us—including purchasing, selling, trading, servicing, or shipping a timepiece—you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
EWC buys, sells, trades, services, refurbishes, and authenticates luxury watches and related accessories. We also provide insurance-related quote and policy experiences in coordination with EWC Insurance Solutions LLC. All Services are offered for lawful purposes only.
You represent and warrant that:
EWC provides complimentary FedEx Express labels and insurance coverage for shipments sent to us from within the United States. Insurance applies from the time the package is scanned by FedEx until EWC confirms receipt.
International clients must remove alligator, crocodile, ostrich, and lizard straps before shipping. Importing endangered species materials into the U.S. is illegal under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). EWC is not liable for seized items, fines, or penalties resulting from improper shipment.
Clients must secure the watch, box, and accessories using bubble wrap or similar protective material. EWC is not responsible for loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging.
EWC’s insurance coverage is limited to the declared insured value or $100,000 USD, whichever is less. Title to any merchandise transfers to EWC only after inspection and authentication. Items not accepted will be returned at the customer’s expense.
You may not ship or sell to EWC any of the following:
Violations may be reported to law-enforcement and result in forfeiture or refusal of Services.
Upon receipt and inspection, EWC may make an offer to purchase or trade your merchandise. All offers are final once accepted by both parties. If you decline an offer, EWC will return the merchandise using insured shipping at your cost.
We accept the following payment methods:
Trades are welcome; any balance owed must be paid via one of the above methods. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or direct bank transfer.
All purchases are final, subject to a two-day inspection period beginning upon your receipt of the watch. To qualify for a return:
Items failing inspection (wear, tampering, missing components) will be refused and returned.
Each watch sold by EWC includes a Certificate of Authenticity verified by our in-house experts. EWC provides a Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee for every timepiece we sell.
All watches include a 1-year limited warranty covering movement or mechanical defects. Exclusions: normal wear, misuse, water damage, magnetization, or third-party repairs. EWC reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund at its sole discretion.
Registered clients may create an EWC Account to manage:
You are responsible for maintaining accurate information and protecting your login credentials. You agree that EWC may share account or quote information internally with EWC Insurance Solutions LLC for underwriting or related services.
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive transactional emails, calls, and texts regarding orders, quotes, and offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting sales@europeanwatch.com, but transactional messages may still be sent as needed to complete services.
Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. We use trusted third parties—such as Stripe, FedEx, HubSpot, WatchCharts, and AWS—to facilitate payments, logistics, analytics, and hosting. EWC is not responsible for the actions of these independent service providers.
All images, text, logos, videos, watch descriptions, and related materials on our website or marketing channels are the exclusive property of European Watch Company.
You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially use any content without written permission.
User-submitted materials (e.g., My Collection photos) remain the property of EWC, which may use them for marketing, analytics, or product improvement, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting sales@europeanwatch.com.
Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree that arbitration will occur only on an individual basis, not as part of a class or representative action. You further waive the right to a jury trial.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EWC’s total liability for any claim related to the Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item or the insured value (up to $100,000 USD), whichever is less. EWC shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
EWC may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
