Rolex 5508 Submariner Small Crown Gilt, stainless steel on a stainless steel rivet USA bracelet dated 1-1969, the stainless steel case is in excellent condition with lugs that are full and sharp, automatic Rolex caliber 1530 movement, the gilt dial is incredibly glossy and clean, a very charming creamy patina on both the dial and hands which match perfectly, gilt chapter ring and print, "exclamation point" at 6 o clock indicating lower radium levels than earlier 5508 dials, nicely faded bezel, circa late 1950s, small crown, size 37.5, thickness 12.3mm, Excellent Condition with European Watch Company travel pouch.
